Also, I have had a great deal of success getting advice on www.slovensko.com (go to the Travelling to Slovakia forum).
Every question I have asked has been answered within 2 days; web links provided were in English - everything
from bus/train schedules to hotels (even getting discount rates), horseback riding, festivals and a host of other
events.
For a vacation that began with "no place in particular to go", I now suffer from a vacation with not enough days
to see it all!
