It would be a disaster for continued Slovak economic growth to adopt the euro. Even remaining in the ERM is a risky business, as we in Britain know all too well. When you lose control of your currency, you lose the ability to fine tune and control inflation. The "one size fits all" theory is ridiculous. European countries do not all have the same economies and needs. Besides, economic growth in the Eurozone is pathetic compared to the UK and "New Europe".
