Re: Church finding creates archaeological sensation, May 15 - May 21, 2006, Volume 12, Number 19
I live near Zlaté Moravce and the city of Nitra, capital of the Great Moravian Empire, and have always been fascinated with the history of the Old Slovak Empire. The church at Kostoľany pod Tríbečom (along with Nitra Castle, Devín Castle, St Emmeram Cathedral in Nitra and the fort at Ducové-Kostolec) is an especially valuable monument to the Slovakia of the 9th-10th centuries.
