I'm sorry to hear that this was Matthew's last Slovak Matters column ("Pišám...? No, I mean píšem!", Slovak Matters, Vol.8, No.2, January 21 - 27]. I have enjoyed reading his funny and clever insights into Slovak life. He showed me a different way of looking at my own culture, people, and the funny language we speak. I will miss his gentle sense of humour. Matthew, good luck to you and thank you!
