I am glad to see that Gašparovič has kept up the good relations with Jews and Israel that Schuster did, and that he has often spoken out about the Holocaust.
On the other hand, he has from time to time thrown wood onto the fire of relations with Hungarians, e.g. by calling Pál Csáky a spy. So there is a little way to go before he is really "presidential"
