Re: Bureaucracy to be made easier, Flash News,

I was married in Trnava last year. To arrange, legalize, and register the marriage, as well as my wife's change of name, took 3 days of running around various departments in various offices (involving police, solicitors, translators, the matrika (registry office), and a couple of other village and regional offices).

Once, I had to go from the fourth to the ground floor, wait for the official to finish perusing her holiday brochure, and then back up to the fourth, all for a bloody stamp!

It is laughable. I ask my wife if you can complain to superiors about surly service, but it seems its just accepted in Slovakia.
