Racism exists everywhere, it seems. In the US we have so many different races, cultures and religions that it is easy for me to be tolerant. There are many successful Roma in the US. They have nail salons and are professors at universities. It is too easy to assume that laziness is the reason for poverty, malnutrition and loss of hope.
