Matica Slovenská has always been more about attacking Slovakia's numerous minorities - Hungarians
(especially), Jews, Gypsies, Germans - than about advancing Slovak culture, which it claims to be about. This
paranoiac and xenophobic organisation still believes in the 19th century nationalistic misconception that the
advancement of one nation can only be achieved to the detriment of others.
What's worse is that it turns out that the Slovak media are walking at the leash of this anti-democratic
organisation that, if brought to the European Court at Strasbourg, would probably be banned.
