Real wages up 4.1 percent

Slovakia's Statistics Office reported on September 4 that the average nominal monthly wage was Sk19,598 in the second quarter of this year, which is up 6.7 percent year-on-year.

Real wages grew 4.1 percent in that period. In the first six months of this year, the average nominal monthly wage grew 6.9 percent to Sk19,056, while the real wages rose by 4.2 percent.
