KOŠICE police have arrested a 25-year-old Slovak whom they allege is a right-wing extremist and a member of the militant global Christian Separatis group.
Rudolf Sch., a business student in Košice, started a web site promoting right-wing extremist ideas at the beginning of 2001, when he was a member of the White Slovak unity movement. He started the site along with unemployed Zuzana P., 20, who was arrested with Rudolf Sch. on May 25.
The web site advocated revisionist views of the Holocaust, and openly supported fascist movements. When the site was launched, Zuzana P. was a member and later became the chair of the right-wing Slovak National Youth movement.
Rudolf Sch. took part in a training course for the Christian Separatis in the US. His task was to gain support for the group's cause among Slovak extremists, police said.
