PARLIAMENTARY deputy Iveta Henzélyová misled the public when she claimed that the videotape that New Citizens Alliance (ANO) party Chairman Pavol Rusko recorded to prove suspected deputy bribery by agents of the ruling coalition was forged.
The General Prosecutor confirmed that the recording that reportedly features Henzélyová describing how she was approached by an unnamed person and offered money to join the ruling coalition was authentic, the daily SME reported.
The police are waiting for the detailed transcripts of the tape so that the prosecution bodies can take action in the matter.
After Rusko publicized the tape Henzélyová told the media that the recording had been manipulated.
