Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ján Kubiš held talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Vladimir Titov in Bratislava on September 16.
They talked of cooperation with Russia and the situation in Georgia and the Balkans.
"In connection with the situation in Georgia, Kubiš repeated Slovakia's standing, which is based on respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders, and on rejection of the use of force in resolving disputed issues in international relations," the ministry stated.
Titov also met with Foreign Ministry State Secretary Diana Štrofová. They discussed cooperation in the U.N. and other international organisations. SITA
