Over the past couple years, the Bratislava branch of the Russian airline Aeroflot was led by Russian spy and counterintelligence officer Sergej Michaljlovic Miagkich, the Slovak daily Národná obroda wrote, citing the Russian paper Vremja novostej.
According to the daily, the spy was also a gambler who was sentenced to five years in prison in Moscow for a $61,000 fraud.
The Slovak Intelligence Service has yet to comment on the issue.
