The cabinet also approved the nomination of Miroslav Pollák to the post of government proxy for Roma communities. He replaces Ľudovít Galbavý, the SITA newswire wrote.

The cabinet also dismissed Daniel Duchoň from the post of government proxy for the preparation and realisation of an informal meeting of NATO defence ministers in Slovakia. Duchoň, former state secretary at the Defence Ministry, was appointed to the post on August 27, 2008. The cabinet cancelled the post together with its status, which defines its position, tasks, powers, and responsibilities.
