Slovak Radio still without a director

THE FIGHT for the post of general director of the public broadcaster, Slovak Radio, continues. The function period of the previous director Jaroslav Rezník finished on October 7. The Broadcast Council has not yet elected a new director, the daily Hospodárske noviny reported.

Economic Director Hilda Gajdošová and Programme Manager Vladimír Puchala have been in temporary charge of the radio station. Some council members warn that the period without a director could weaken the position of the broadcaster on the market and that it might fall into an even deeper crisis.
