The Conference of Slovak Bishops (KBS) has expressed its trust and support for members of the Franciscan order, three of whom are suspected of child abuse.
“We believe that investigations carried out in line with the laws of the Slovak Republic will prove these accusations are unjustified. Based on the facts revealed so far, the members of Franciscan order have not lost our trust,” the KBS said in a statement.
Three Franciscan theology students allegedly molested two boys from a deprived family which the order had been helping, the SITA wrote. Representatives of the order claim that the case was fabricated. SITA
