Fico said there was "a slight difference" between the Slovak and Austrian stances on Kosovo, as Slovakia is putting more stress on respecting the Serbs' wishes.

As for the European Constitution, Fico said that both Slovakia and Austria support the adoption of a blueprint for progress towards a European Constitution.

When asked about the planned anti-missile bases in the Czech Republic and Poland, Fico said that as a sign of respect for Austria's independent position he wouldn't comment on this part of the talks.
