A bank ombud’s office started operating in Slovakia in early September.
The first bank ombud in Slovakia is Eva Černá. She told a news conference on September 4 that she wanted to use of her lengthy experience in helping people.
Bank clients who fail to solve their disputes with the bank can turn to the ombud for help. Based on the opinions of her team of financial and legal experts, the ombud will issue a recommendation to solve the problem.
