Slovakia to send Sk29 million in aid to China

Slovakia is to provide humanitarian aid worth approximately Sk29 million (€920,000) to the People's Republic of China, Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Jan Škoda told the TASR newswire on May 19.

The ministry is sending the aid in cooperation with the Civil Protection. Tents, blankets, beds, stretchers and generators are among the items to be donated to the country, which suffered a devastating earthquake on May 13. TASR
