When the far-right ĽSNS party made it into parliament in the 2016 election, part of the political scene decided to ignore it. The Stop Fascism initiative, signed by 21 MPs, was launched to isolate the party. One of them was Smer MP Ľuboš Blaha.
Despite Smer always proudly claiming an anti-fascist orientation, in a turn of events, one of assistants of now MEP Blaha is a man who cooperated with ĽSNS and later Republika, a far-right party, which was founded by former ĽSNS members, reports the Aktuality.sk news site.
