“We are here for the fourth consecutive time, and we came to show our dogs to children,” Daniel Filo, who was a professional musher for many years, told the Korzár daily. “These dogs competed for years; currently, we compete only in exceptional cases, and we prefer to show our dogs at events like this,” he added.

The event, presented by Andrej Bičan, also featured performances by dance groups Credence and Jumbochicks, a snow labyrinth, face-painting for children and a demonstration of the work mountain rescuers perform in avalanches. As early as noon on Saturday about 5,000 people had already attended the event, organiser Lenka Maťašovská of the Regional Tourism Organisation Vysoké Tatry / High Tatras told Korzár.
