Education Minister Ján Mikolaj has presented the maximum tuition fees universities can collect from external students for various fields of study, the Hospodárske Noviny newspaper wrote on September 4.
In calculating the tuition fees, the ministry did not consider the interest in individual study programmes, but the economic costs of the programmes. That is why, for example, studying law will cost Sk29,000 at most, which is the lowest tuition fee.
The most expensive study program will be veterinary medicine, which will cost Sk155,000.
