SMOKERS in Slovakia will pay an Sk8,000 (€211) fine for breaching smoking bans if a new anti-smoking law is approved in parliament.
According to the Health Ministry, which prepared the new law, smoking in restaurants and bars which serve food will only be permitted in a separate, designated smoking room, the Pravda daily reported.
If passed, the law will take effect in July this year.
