THE AMERICAN father of a little girl whose Slovak mother kidnapped her and took her to Bratislava in 1998 has appealed a Bratislava district court decision to leave Emily Izykowska in her mother's hands.
The father, who once tried to take his daughter from a Bratislava street but was foiled by Slovak police, now plans to take his case to Bratislava regional court.
A US court gave custody of Emily to her father after the couple's divorce in the 1990s.
