USA: Getty Graduate Internship Programme

THE J. Paul Getty Trust is offering internships for visual arts students. Programmes are offered in the fields of curator studies, preservation of monuments, education and research, information management and grants.

Internships can be taken at various departments of the company, including the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Getty Research Institute, the Getty Conservation Institute and the Getty Grant Programme. Eligible candidates must be either accepted for Master's studies in fields related to the internships or must have graduated from university after January 1, 2004.

Successful candidates will work full-time for eight or 12 months, starting in September 2008. The amount of the scholarship in 2007 was $17,400 (Sk393,700) for eight months and $26,000 for 12 months. The scholarship includes health insurance and does not include accommodation.
