THE EXTREMELY hot and dry weather might force the regional water utility operating in the Bratislava Region, Bratislavská Vodárenská Spoločnosť (BVS), to restrict or cut water supplies in some villages.
Villages that might be affected include Marianka, Borinka, Buková, Cerová, Dubová, Kráľová (in Modra), the Harmónia resort and some streets in Bratislava's Záhorská Bystrica, BVS spokesperson Jana Štulajterová told the SITA newswire on July 18.
If the company interrupts water supplies or water resources in villages get contaminated, BVS will bring water to people by tanks.
