The national tourism agencies of the Visegrad Four countries (Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland) will put on their first promotion shows in five Indian cities between April 12 and 17, the TASR newswire was told by the Slovak Tourism Agency (SACR).
The presentations will be made in five cities – Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai – and will be accompanied by direct negotiations with up to 100 Indian tour-providers.
“The condition for Slovak businesses wanting to take part in the show is a well-prepared tourism product with specified prices,” said Lívia Lukáčova from SACR, adding that Slovak travel agencies and accommodation facilities can register by March 15. According to Lukáčova, the Indian market is one of the most promising when it comes to tourism and Indian tour-providers are showing more and more interest in comprehensive central-European packages. Some Indian travel agencies are even offering tours to the V4 countries as a single package. TASR
