GERMAN car components producer Visteon yesterday started building its new plant at the Nitra industrial park. The company is investing €40 million and will employ 400 people by 2007, the Hospodárske noviny business daily reported.
The company will supply the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant near Trnava and the KIA car plant near Žilina. Annual turnover at the new plant is planned at €100 million.
The project's developer is a consortium composed of Slovak J&T and Belgian Immo Industry Group.
