Zvolánek decided three years ago to run up all the peaks of the High Tatras that he had managed to hike before. He planned to follow the red marked trail. In thirty hours, he wanted to run 150 kilometres., Korzár Spiš informed.

He had some refreshment only at two points – Štrbské pleso and Hrebienok. He started in the morning from Tri Studničky, continued to Kriváň, Furkotský štít, Predné Solisko, Kôprovský štít, Rysy, Východná vysoká, Slávkovský štít, Sedielko (Malý Ľadový štít) and planned to run up to Jahňací štít, however, the last peak was unsuccessful, Korzár Spiš stated.

“It began to hurt when I ran down from Slavkovský štít. Then I decided to go to Sedielko and down to Zamkovského cottage, but from this point I wasn’t able to walk without hiking sticks,” wrote Zvolánek on his Facebook page, as quoted by Korzár Spiš.

He added that Jahňací štít is the hardest one to hike as the way down is full of stones. Altogether he ran 110 kilometres in 27 hours and 31 minutes. He plans to return to the Tatra challenge in the future, Korzár Spiš wrote.
