When it comes to sport, hard work beats talent

Richard Varga always had the predisposition to become a successful sportsman, inheriting his mother's love for swimming and his brother's passion for triathlon.

The most successful Slovak triathlete, Richard Varga, has not only represented his country at two Olympic Games, he is also a four-time aquathlon world champion.

"You can have talent, but without hard work, it's not going to last for long. You have to be disciplined," says Varga, explaining the right way for someone to look at the sport they wish to compete in.
