The most successful Slovak triathlete, Richard Varga, has not only represented his country at two Olympic Games, he is also a four-time aquathlon world champion.
"You can have talent, but without hard work, it's not going to last for long. You have to be disciplined," says Varga, explaining the right way for someone to look at the sport they wish to compete in.
Since Richard became a professional athlete, he has been a regular feature on the ITU World Series circuit, the Premier League of triathlon. Some of his top results include:
