Big Carnival Parade

March 1, at 16:30 on Hviezdoslavovo námestie.

The grand carnival parade will begin, seeing hundreds of people gather in colourful costumes. The starting point is Hviezdoslavovo námestie, where the lively tunes of Kuštárovci will set the mood.

At 17:00, the crowd will march through the city streets, filling them with laughter, colour, and a festive atmosphere. Surprises await the participants, and the most original costumes will be recognised in a special competition.

At 18:00, the parade will conclude at Námestie Nežnej revolúcie, where the ensemble Muzička will welcome guests and kick off the evening festivities.

International Women's Day Concert

March 6, at 18:00 in the Austrian Cultural Forum (Hodžovo nám. 1/A).

Avin Ahmadi is an Iranian oud player, improviser, composer, and singer. Born in 2004 in Tehran, she now resides in Vienna.

At this concert, she will present her solo project "Qayeq"—a fusion of her own compositions blending Persian and jazz influences, along with unique renditions of well-known traditional Persian songs, all brought to life through her mesmerising oud performance and captivating voice.

Eco-education on Kamzík

March 2, 10:00 to 15:00 at the Eco-education centre on Kamzík hill (Kamzíkov vrch 12272).

On the first Sunday of each month, you can join the group at Kamzík, from 10:00 to 15:00, for an engaging eco-educational program and hands-on activities—completely free of charge!

Designed for families, children of all ages, and curious minds, the thematic activities encourage creativity and exploration. No registration is needed—just come and enjoy a day of discovery.
