Festival of student's films Áčko
October 19-21, from 9:00 till 22:00 in Film and Television Faculty of VŠMU, Svoradova 2
The program of the festival will offer competitive segments for students and non-competitive segments, in the form of a screening of films from partner schools. Visitors can also look forward to various masterclasses with well-known people from audio-visual, or discussions on current topics.
The festival is intended for the general public in various age categories. The primary part of the target group consists mainly of students. The main purpose of the festival is to present the work of budding artists, whether from Slovakia or abroad. However, the event itself also provides an opportunity to gain new contacts and knowledge from the audiovisual field through masterclasses and discussions.

Hike to Gajdoš
Meeting point: Saturday, October 21 at Nivy bus station at 9:45
This weekend the group of foreigners will meet at Nivy bus station for the bus, which takes off to Kuchyňa at 10:00 and start walking at 11.
There will be some interesting terrain to cover, mostly on unmarked forest ridgeways, with several peaks and viewpoints to see. After the hikers will get to Gajdoš, they will start the walk downhill to the meadow at Čermák, and finish at Zochova Chata for the bus back to town.
The hike is about 13 km and should take about 6 hours.

Kristína Prablesková - quartet

Kristína Prablesková is a jazz singer with a memorable voice colour and a recognisable singing expression. With her quartet, she will mainly play her favourite jazz standards, but also several cover versions of various pop songs in their special arrangement.
Kristina likes to invite guests to diversify the program, so you can look forward to surprising someone or something this time as well.
