The talented artist will present himself to the Bratislava audience together with his ensemble Collegium Stivinum, which under his direction focuses on the interpretation of compositions for solo double bass and orchestra.

Summer cinema in T3 - Sans Soleil

Tuesday, July 9, at 21:00 in T3 (Tyršovo nábrežie waterfront)

This film take the form of a speculative travel essay by Chris Marker, in which he reflects on culture and history from Guinea to Japan to Iceland in narrated letters.

Sans Soleil is, together with La Jetée, Chris Marker's most famous film. Today it is considered a masterpiece - Sight & Sound named it the 3rd best documentary of all time and the 55th best film of all time.

The screening will be in the original French with English subtitles. Admission is free, but you can contribute if you want.
