He is an important performer of modern classics on the international stage. Guzzetti is particularly renowned for performing classical electronic and modern music.

He will perform in Slovakia for the first time. The concert is part of the 24th Week of Italian Language and Culture in the World.


Yoga

Morning Yoga in Mareena with Marietta

October 23, at 7:30 in the Mareena community centre (Lazaretská 32).

Morning yoga in Mareena with instructor Marietta will be gentle, suitable for beginners and more advanced practitioners. You will try to slow down and enjoy the present before jumping into the day of work.

The yoga starts at 7:30, but make sure to come at least 10 minutes sooner, so you can start in time. The session will be conducted in English. Don't forget to register here.

Literature

A literary evening with music as part of the "Austria Reads" festival

October 22, at 17:00 in the Austrian Cultural Forum (Hodžovo nám. 1/A).

Austria's largest literary festival is celebrating its 19th anniversary this year. In the week from October 21 to 27, 2024, Austrian libraries will once again present a varied program for people of all ages who love reading.

The Austrian Cultural Forum is organising a literary evening with music, at which the young talented actor Jakub Jablonský will read excerpts from the latest Slovak translation of Stefan Zweig's book Hviezdne hodiny ľudstva from 2023. The music program will be provided by the excellent pianist Kristína Smetanová.
