Halloween, Carnival, Easter and Christmas are all reasons for its big transformation. The most recent occasion is the World Hockey Championship, write the My Novohrad website.
Evka Skruteková, whose native Salajka is close to her heart, is behind the initiative. And all her visions are brought to life in a garage.
"I make the decoration from what I have. I got the mannequins from a neighbour who closed her clothing store. I dress them in my old clothes, or my mother's clothes," Skruteková said a few years ago.
Skruteková used to work in a grocery store, and she was very happy when she was asked to make a nicely decorated gift basket for a customer back in the day. Today, she makes her interesting ideas happen outside her house, but also at the local bus stop.
