A helping hand in the heart of Europe offers for you Slovakia travel guide.

The bus stop reminds passengers and passers-by of the great Slovak statesman Milan Rastislav Štefánik. Its new appearance is the work of street artist Jozef Spodniak, also known as Panika, wrote the My Bystrica website.

"The stop has a new look thanks to the activities of the club and the non-profit organisation Spolu Sme Bystrica (Together, We Are Bystrica)," Ján Nosko, the mayor of Banská Bystrica, said on October 28.

He added that he is pleased to see kids learn about Slovakia's rich past through a modern depiction of history.

However, this is not the only bus stop where Spodniak left his mark.

As recently as July 2019, the Podborová borough in Zvolen, a town neighbouring Banská Bystrica, enjoyed the original appearance of the bus stop. At that time, Zvolen locals referred to it as the most beautiful in Slovakia.
