Winter beauty of Tatras, when waterfalls turn to icefall

The chill days and nights in the High Tatras formed ice in several spots. Skok Falls in Mlynický Valley is no exception: a 30-metre high waterfall with an altitude of 1,789 metres above sea level turned into an icefall.

The falls are accessible in winter, when the majority of touristic routes are closed. When tourists follow the yellow marks starting at Štrbské Pleso, they will reach this frozen beauty in about an hour and a half.
