SLOVAK Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan has criticised the restrictions that the current EU member states are preparing for new members after the EU enlargement in May 2004.
The majority of current member states plan to restrict the work opportunities of citizens from the 10 new member states, although during entry talks many promised to fully open their labour markets.
The Slovak economic daily Hospodárske noviny wrote that, at a meeting of European diplomatic leaders, Kukan called these restrictions "inexcusable and unjustified".
