Large part of a file about one of Kočner's cases disappeared from court

Almost 300 pages are missing in the case file of the hostile takeover of Technopol Servis by people around Marian Kočner. The justice minister has filed a criminal complaint.

A large part of the Technopol Servis case file has disappeared from the Bratislava I District Court. Marian Kočner is the defendant in the case.

The Sme daily obtained information about the disappeared file from the environment of the judiciary and had been trying to verify it for two weeks before it broke the story on October 23, 2018.

The court only provided a brief response to the repeated questions: “The issue is being investigated,” the court president, Anna Kašajová, told Sme.

The court did not clearly admit to a part of the case file being lost and it is therefore unclear how much of the file went missing and when.
