For passengers who desire to travel in quiet circumstances, without any noise created by other passengers, ZSSK offers the silent zone service in the 1st class cars of select express trains - E.g. 600 - 613 and 622 will offer the service on a daily schedule, others in certain conditions. Again, the compartments will bear a pictogram.

In order to make the nature in the Orava region in northern Slovakia more accessible, ZSSK has started to connect cars with bicycle stands to trains from the Kraľovany station, which connect to express trains on the Bratislava - Košice line. These cars will run on weekends and holidays.
