It has already launched an advertising campaign, using slogans like “Let’s go to four” or “Who saves, has four”. Though the ads lack any details or logo, the background has been used by Slovenská Pošta, the country’s dominant postal service, and the Swan Mobile company , the Sme daily reported.

The new operator should be introduced at a press conference on October 4. The date of launching services is crucial for Slovenská Pošta due to the beginning of the pre-Christmas season when many contracts with telecommunication companies expire and people consider changing their mobile providers, Sme wrote.

Neither Slovenská Pošta nor Swan have registered the trademark yet. The new operator will use the dialling code 0950 which the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RÚ) gave Swan Mobile already last year.

Some sources indicate that the new mobile provider will offer cheaper prices than its rivals. It may even be 4 cents per minute to the whole European Union, including Slovakia, according to the Živé.sk website. Currently, Slovak Telekom and Orange Slovensko offer calls for 9 cents per minute, while O2 charges 13 cents per minute. This may be crucial for customers that choose the fourth provider, as reported by Sme.
