TWO SLOVAK firms have received contracts in the reconstruction of Iraq, the state-run news agency TASR wrote on January 27, referring to a cabinet document.

The Trnava-based Unis Slovensko received a €56 million deal to supply a Basra refinery with equipment that will increase its oil extraction capacities. The textile firm Zekon, from the eastern Slovak town of Michalovce, will supply military materials to the country via an order from Great Britain.
