Zinkovňa Malacky Ltd., one of the largest zinc coating facilities in Europe, . It mainly covers with zinc containers made by Strojárne Malacky for German customers, GSM posts and antennas, and high-way barriers. The company was constructed in eight mont with total investments worth $5.5 million (180 million Sk), and was put into operation in October 1996. The investment is expected to pay back in 4 - 5 years. The company employs 30 people. Its owners are German companies Verzinkerei Holding and Kopf.
