CONCERT: Rock in the museum – The Museum of Trade presents a young, Greek blues-rock group called Deep in the Top to Bratislava as part of the project, Rock in the museum. CONCERT: The King´s Singers – The famous acapella group comes to Bratislava as part of the Viva Musica event. During its 50 years of acapella history several perfect singers have performed in the band. EVENT: French day 2017 – The fifth year celebrating the French holiday, Bastille Day, in Bratislava is organized by the French embassy. The event offers a cultural programme and a market selling French products and food. Starts: Jul 14, 14:00, Hlavné námestie. More info:

EXHIBITION: Stano Filko 2037 – An exhibition dedicated to one of the most significant but unfortunately deceased Slovak artists to mark the occasion of his 80th birthday. The ambition of the exhibition is to show the three-dimensional, planar and conceptual views of the artist of the world’s and a being’s structure. EXHIBITION: Like at home – The exhibition reflects the main influences on Slovak sculpture of the 20th and 21st century. EXHIBITION: Every family has its own story – A unique project presents family treasures and family stories from twenty members of Bratislava’s Jewish community from different generations. EXHIBITION: Obrazy a sochy (Paintings and statues) – Vladimír Kompánek, sculptor and painter, is the most famous protagonist of Galandovci and at the same time one of the most charismatic people of the Slovak painting scene of the second half of 20th century. EXHIBITION: Don Quixote – The exhibition presents the character of Don Quijote that became the inspiration for many artistic pieces, not only in literature. EXHIBITION: Dorota Sadovská: Yellow Embrace - Exhibition entitled Žlté objatie/ Yellow Embrace created by Slovak artist Dorota Sadovská presents her new installation, where visitors will have a chance to enter the spatial installation and feel as if they are in an actual “embrace”. IN-LINE: Inline skating – Approximately one thousand in-line skaters and also cyclists, people with scooters and skateboards can travel the roads that normally belong to cars on Friday night. TRAINING: Zumba in English Every Tuesday – Not a dance lesson, but rather a party which the organisers call the Zumba dance. Organised by Internationals Bratislava, a non-profit organisation that brings people together from all around the world living or visiting Bratislava, regardless of their cultural origin. Highlights of the year

FESTIVAL: Uprising – The festival is amongst the biggest in central Europe for the reggae music genre. During two days, different artists from reggae, dancehall, ska, latino, hip-hop, dub, dubstep, ragga-jungle and dnb music styles will perform on the stage. CONCERT: Apocalyptica – This tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launching of Plays Metallica with Four Cellos. Apocalyptica formed new attitudes towards the hits of this most famous rock band, created their own genre and started a career which has already lasted for 20 years. CONCERT: Andrea Bocelli – One of the greatest artists of Opera, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, has recorded 15 studio albums and three Greatest hits albums over his more than 25-year-long career. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava. The Specialised Criminal Court sends Alena Zsuzsová to prison for ordering the murder of former Hurbanovo mayor. She appealed against the verdict, insists she is innocent.
