The ruins of Zbojnícky Castle hidden in the forests stands in the Slanské Mountains above the village of Ruská Nová Ves near Prešov.
Juraj Bokša ordered the building of the castle in the 13th century, the regional daily Korzár wrote.
Today, only ruins remain. However, it is a popular locality among tourists because of the spectacular views of the surrounding country.
When the weather is good, not only is nearby Prešov visible, but also U.S. Steel in Košice and the peaks of the High Tatras.
