Another round to support the purchase of e-cars to be launched soon

The Economy Ministry allocated €5 million for the purpose.

In order to increase the number of e-cars on Slovak roads, the state will again provide financial support to purchase these vehicles.

The Economy Ministry has published conditions and necessary information on the special Chcemeelektromobil.sk website (Slovak only). It will be possible to submit applications from December 17.

The ministry allocated altogether €5 million for this purpose, the TASR newswire reported.

Under the presented support scheme, those interested in buying a battery electric vehicle will be able to receive a subsidy of €8,000, while the purchase of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle will be supported with €5,000.
