“As we continue to grow in the region, hundreds of temporary jobs will become permanent jobs in 2020,” Radek Stegbauer, a head of the Sereď centre, said in the press release.

Workers will use state-of-the-art technologies, and advanced hardware and software solutions to assess the status of products that could not be delivered or were returned to Amazon, he said.

All temporary workers will enjoy the same benefits as the 2,600 full-time employees of Amazon in Slovakia, Stegbauer pledged.

The recruitment process runs until the end of November 2019.
