US company Amazon has announced its intention to recruit more employees in Slovakia before Christmas.
The firm has already recruited 700 temporary workers for its logistics centre in Sereď, in the south of Slovakia.

“As we continue to grow in the region, hundreds of temporary jobs will become permanent jobs in 2020,” Radek Stegbauer, a head of the Sereď centre, said in the press release.
Workers will use state-of-the-art technologies, and advanced hardware and software solutions to assess the status of products that could not be delivered or were returned to Amazon, he said.
