He cannot be missed even if he wanted. Due to his height of 210 centimetres, he towers above his teammates from the Northwest Christian School's football team in Phoenix, Arizona, US.
Adam Pecník, 18, is a Slovak exchange student hailing from the small village of Čerín, Banská Bystrica Region. Originally, he came to study and play basketball. However, before the season started, his host family suggested that he try football. He watched a few games, learned the rules and the rest is history.
"I didn't even tell my family that I'm playing for the ball," said Pecník. "I told them to call me once a week because I don't have time. I have practice, homework, school, and gym in the morning."
At first, it was difficult to find sports equipment in the right size for him, but in the end everything was sorted out.
