THE LEGEND of Elizabeth Bathory has captivated generations, but her true character eludes many. She has been branded the most renowned serial killer of her time, accused of torturing and murdering more than 600 people.
As well as the movie by Juraj Jakubisko, the author A. Mordeaux has written a book about the Bloody Countess entitled Bathory: Memoir of a Countess.
The book invites the reader to travel back in time and explore her story, told in her own voice, to discover the many facets of Countess Elizabeth Bathory.
