The new exhibition, Mikuláš Galanda – Lyricist who Made Poetry from Reality, displays copies of his works as well as artifacts documenting his life, the SITA newswire wrote. The exhibition officially opened in late February.

Compared with the previous exhibition, the current display presents high-quality copies of the artist’s paintings, graphic works and drawings. And according to Jarmila Kováčová, director of the Turčianska Gallery, it presents a more complex view of Galanda’s life and work.

Turčianske Teplice will hold a series of events this year to mark the anniversary of Galanda’s death. More information is available at www.galanda.sk, but only in Slovak.
